Born in 1935 Peter is an architect, now retired. He has painted throughout his adult life both in producing visual material to support his work as an architect and as a leisure activity.

His chosen medium is watercolour and he paints a wide variety of subjects; still life, landscape, portraiture and of course marine subjects.

As well as being a member of the Maritime Art Group he is a member of the Essex Art Club, of which he is currently vice chairman and the National Maritime Museum Art Club [NMMAC], of which he is a past chairman.
